I had the privilege of speaking to a group of middle school students at St. Joseph’s Catholic school October 11, 2010. The student Ambassadors group had collected 20 blankets, canned goods, snack bars, winter coats, stocking caps, back-packs, paper goods and toiletries. In addition they had assembled 130 goody bags containing such items as socks, gloves, toothpaste, toothbrushes, trail mix, nuts and other nutritional snacks. Their corporate partner, Proctor and Gamble had donated waterproof bags, toothbrushes and toothpaste for this project.
These students are great kids with big hearts, keen minds and spirits and social awareness. I want to thank them for inviting me to speak to them about 7hills, our services and the plight of the homeless and near homeless. Thanks also to staff members Stephanie Thomas, Mark Wilburn and Principle Ann Finch for their leadership.

Sincerely,
Cynthia Seideman
